1. Strawberry Sunrise

Even though it’s only been on shelves for about a month, I would say this is Alani’s best flavor so far! The strawberry and orange flavors blend very well together, and it’s the perfect amount of sweet to where it’s not overpowering. It’s very refreshing, and many have compared it to tasting very similar to a strawberry mimosa, which is very fitting as Alani Nu’s whole vibe is very “brunch” inspired. Unless you’re just not a fan of strawberry and orange flavors, then I don’t have a single negative thing to say about this flavor!

2. Sherbet Swirl

After hitting shelves on April 9, this newly released flavor instantly rose up in my ranking of Alani Nu flavors. Although the flavor profile is quite strong and intense, it tastes very similar to the popular candy Nerd’s Gummy Clusters. With accented flavors of raspberry, lime, and orange, it’s one of their more unique flavors that reminds me so much of summers spent in our childhood. All of the highlighted flavors blend very well with each other.

3. Juicy Peach

Feelin’ peachy? This refreshing flavor tastes just like peach rings candy, and it’s tart enough to keep it interesting but not too sweet. It’s refreshing and it has such a vibe to drink, as the blend of peach and cream flavors are quite satisfying.

4. Cherry Slush

Although many say this flavor tastes like cough medicine, or strong cherry syrup, I would honestly have to disagree. It truly tastes just like a cherry slushie from a gas station, and it doesn’t leave any aftertaste in your mouth whatsoever. This is one of the only Alani flavors that so closely matches its name. It’s one of their sweeter-tasting flavors, but it’s very refreshing and quite delightful to sip on.

5. Cosmic Stardust

Truly an out-of-this-world flavor. This flavor is ideal for someone looking for something not too sweet, but also not too tart. This flavor is highlighted by grape and hints of berry flavorings, and it luckily doesn’t leave a nasty aftertaste in your mouth. I could easily compare its taste profile to a gummy fruit snake. It’s one of their oldest flavors, and even without any rebranding whatsoever, it still holds a spot in my top 5!

6. Orange Kiss

The best way to describe this flavor is “summer in a can.” It’s very bright and strong, which can be overpowering for some, although it has a good amount of tartness compared to other sweet flavors. It provides quite a boost that could be quite ideal first thing in the morning or before a good workout. I have to be in a certain mood to have this flavor, simply because it is so overpowering at times, but it truly is an orange slice of paradise!

7. Pink Slush

Berry bliss in every sip. This flavor is inspired by strawberry cream soda, and it’s quite the fan favorite. It has a fairly strong flavor, and it’s definitely higher up on the sweeter side. It’s a good flavor, and it’s quite enjoyable, but there’s nothing too special about it to rank it any higher.

8. Dream Float

Speaking of summer, this flavor reminds me of creamsicle popsicles, which is quite a favorable summer treat. I find this flavor to be ranked this high solely due to its uniqueness, and also the packaging is adorable! The orange and vanilla ice cream flavorings blend smoothly together, but I will admit, you do have to have a specific taste to appreciate this flavor.

9. Cherry Twist

This mashup of sweet cherry and tangy lime is quite a refreshing and tart flavor, with a balance of sweetness intertwined. Although this flavor is quite unique, it does tend to leave a bit of an aftertaste after drinking it. But that doesn’t discredit how crisp and prominent this flavor is, so stray away if you’re not a fan of those stronger, more overpowering flavor profiles.

10. Hawaiian Shaved Ice

I’m fond of the hints of tropical fruits scattered throughout this flavor, but to me it tastes like pure cough medicine as it is very syrupy in my opinion. The hints of coconut tone down the overall sweetness of the flavor, but the only saving factor on this flavor is that it reminds me of eating a poolside snow cone. It’s not the worst flavor, but, unfortunately, it can’t be ranked any higher than at number 10.

11. Watermelon Wave

I really wanted to like this flavor, since I’m quite fond of watermelon and don’t usually have any negative feelings towards artificial flavors of it… but WOW does this one leave a nasty aftertaste in your mouth. It’s so overwhelmingly sweet I couldn’t even get through half of the can, even though the design on it is absolutely adorable. I feel like this flavor would be higher up if it was toned down with lemonade or water, but, unfortunately, it’s clearly not one of my favorites.
