Most people know of the Dancing Boots as Davie’s dance team. But have you heard of the Davie High Mancing boots?

The Mancing Boots are a spin-off of the original team. This tradition started in 2015 when the guys at Davie High wanted to partake in dancing for their home team.

The Mancers of DCHS dress up and learn choreography organized by the Dancing Boots to perform at the homecoming pep rally. This year the Mancing Boots consist of seniors Ethan Price, Sam Warner, Jack Williams, Wesley Brooks, Griffin Ferrell, John Stokes, Drew Brown, Kyzer Young, Cameron Good, and Daniel Horton. Coincidentally, two of the Mancing Boots this year, Jack Williams and Griffin Ferrell, are on the Homecoming court!

This year’s dance was choreographed by Reagan Brooks. The members of the Dancing Boots, who will be teaching the Mancers, are seniors Madie Keller, Reagan Brooks, and Madi Rogers.
