Davie High seniors walk from the high school to the football stadium as they prepare for their commencement ceremony. As is tradition, students walk to the football stadium through a "tunnel" of teachers who cheer them on and clap for them as they pass by.

As with most years, the 2026 Met Gala left people with vastly different opinions. Whether it’s Blake Lively’s “mom” dress or Janelle Monáe’s grassy dress, this week’s hosts are incredibly unimpressed by this year’s outfit selection.

Grace Carroll is the co-editor-in-chief for the 2025–2026 school year. Writing is her main strength, with a focus on social issues and commentary. In addition to The Talon, she is also the Senior Delegate of Davie High’s Youth and Government club. She is currently a senior at Davie and has been a part of The Talon for her entire high school education. After high school, she plans to pursue a four-year education in communications and journalism.
