Davie County High School has added a new teacher to the faculty: Julie Tronsen! Mrs. Tronsen is in the Social Studies department here at Davie. She teaches World History and American History. Next year, she will teach an Economics class.
Tronsen’s favorite thing about teaching is getting to know the students she teaches. She was originally in Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools but later switched to Davie as two of her kids go to Davie!
Tronsen first went to college at the University of Washington where she got a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in tax law. She went back to school at UNCG and got a master’s in teaching. As her college history shows, Mrs Tronsen started off wanting to be a lawyer, but ended up being a tax accountant and now a teacher.
We are so thankful to have her as a teacher here at Davie!
